Matt is a partner with Nelson Oyen Torvik. He is the Chippewa County Attorney and Assistant Montevideo City Attorney. He also has private clients and his practice consists of business entity creation, business planning, family law including divorce and custody/visitation matters, ditch law, and estate planning.

Matt is married with five children. He raises beef cattle and also has row crops of corn and soybeans. Matt’s spare time is spent enjoying the outdoors with his family.
